Unfortunately, there were maintenance issues that affected my overall experience.

Family with children should definitely consider this place
The food and live band at the market every night were fantastic! Plus, the staff really helped me when I lost my car keys, which was amazing during a stressful moment.
It wasn't inexpensive, but for what we got, it was still reasonable.

This was just a commendable fit for a getaway in Cape Town with great value for the money. I really enjoyed the spacious shared dorm, which had a good-sized kitchen to make tea and store snacks. Make sure to look around for the correct front door when checking in, as it might not be immediately obvious.

We had an amazing time enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the Mojo Market right downstairs! The place was perfect for our family, with everything from local food stalls to a wide selection of craft beers. The staff was friendly and helped us feel right at home.
In my wife’s opinion, the rooms could use some updating for families with kids. A bit more attention to maintenance would really enhance the experience.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff
I had a lovely experience staying in the rooftop private room. The market downstairs offered great snacks at all hours. Even with minor hiccups in Wi-Fi, I found the atmosphere relaxing. Tip, take advantage of the early check-in to explore the vibrant area around the hotel.

The Mojo Hotel & Market was a fantastic spot! The bed was very comfortable, and I loved the vibrant atmosphere at the market with live music and a variety of food stalls. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the promenade and the beach.

missingWrote a review on Apr 24inconvenient communication
However, the overall experience was marred by issues such as no phones in the room, which made communication about housekeeping or emergencies inconvenient. There were also reports of inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity, and the chaotic check-in process left some guests confused about the entrance. Additionally, noise levels could vary, particularly with early morning disturbances, which could wake you unexpectedly.

Staying at Mojo Hotel & Market was a lot of fun. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach. I loved the vibrant atmosphere created by the Mojo Market downstairs. Live music most evenings really added to the experience. The ground floor had an exciting vibe with plenty of food options. My room, a Double Room Roof Top, was clean and spacious with great views, especially from the rooftop. But, there were a few issues. Check-in took longer than expected, and the WiFi was unreliable during my stay. The air conditioner struggled to keep up. Overall, those minor inconveniences didn’t ruin my experience but could use some attention.

Super clean rooms and loved chilling in the market area with tons of food options. A rooftop hangout with cool views made for perfect sunsets. The only thing is the parking can get tricky, so gotta plan ahead for that. Overall, it’s perfect for groups looking to enjoy Cape Town!
